Queens Park Rangers midfielder Michael Doughty has signed for Aldershot on an initial month-long loan deal.

The Wales Under-19 international enjoyed a stint with League Two rivals Crawley earlier this season, making 18 appearances including one against Shots as Town triumphed 1-0 at the EBB Stadium in September. Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth said: "I have watched Michael for the best part of a year. He has progressed well in that period. He has great ability with a good left foot and he can play in a number of positions. "I want the fans to see entertaining football and Michael is a bright and talented young man who has a great future ahead of him." Doughty, who becomes Shots' second capture of the day after Josh Payne turned his loan move into a permanent deal, is in contention to make his debut in Tuesday's trip to Torquay.
