David Moyes was pleased to see Everton extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to eight games, but was full of praise for QPR after their 1-1 draw at Loftus Road.
Despite starting the match brightly, the Toffees were on the back foot for most of the contest and were lucky to leave London with a point after Akos Buzsaky missed a great opportunity to claim all three points for the hosts.
And Moyes was quick to pay credit to Mark Hughes' team, even though QPR's pitch was not to the Everton manager's liking.
"I thought we had some good play at the start," said Moyes. "I thought we were better in the first half than we were in the second half.
"Let's give QPR credit, though - they're fighting for everything. The emphasis was on them to go and try and win it and to be fair to them they tried to do just that.
"I think QPR and the other promoted teams have a great chance of staying up.

"They pinned us back a little bit, but we had moments as well. The pitch, though, makes it very difficult for anyone who comes here to try and play."
Royston Drenthe's 25-yard strike gave Everton the lead, before Bobby Zamora levelled for QPR - heading home from a free-kick - and Moyes was happy to see his Dutchman weigh in with another important goal.
"He picked it up, came inside and he's been good that way - he's come up with a goal or two for us this year. It's been really important."
"As for the QPR goal, if you give away as many free-kicks as we did you're always going to be vulnerable to conceding."
