Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed Christian Maggio has signed a new deal with the club - and more good news could follow. "I can announce that Maggio has signed a new contract until 2015," he told Radio Marte. "Soon we will announce [Marek] Hamsik's one if everything goes well." Italian international Maggio has been a key component in Napoli's recent success and the 29-year-old winger is happy to have secured his long-term future. "There is a lot of satisfaction with this renewal," Maggio's agent Massimo Briaschi told tuttomercatoweb. "It was what Christian wanted." "For his part, it had always been the desire to reach an agreement with Napoli. Maggio has done well for several years and his name was therefore linked to many clubs, but his priority has been Napoli." More faces could also be joining Napoli soon, with 22-year-old Chilean Eduardo Vargas set to link up with his new team-mates before the end of the week. "Edu Vargas will arrive over the weekend and start training with [coach, Walter] Mazzarri," added De Laurentiis. "Maybe he will take part in the Coppa Italia game with Cesena."
