Neil Warnock has been pleased with the response of his Queens Park Rangers side to a drubbing at Fulham, and has provided an update on Kieron Dyer.
Rangers collapsed into the international break in spectacular style, with a 6-0 defeat at Craven Cottage giving them plenty of food for thought.
Warnock was understandably disappointed with the performance and result put in against the Cottagers, but claims his squad are well placed to bounce back.
QPR entertain Blackburn in their latest Premier League fixture on Saturday and the feeling in the camp is that a backlash could be on the cards.
"[The players' reaction] has been good," said Warnock.
"You are bound to be disappointed with a drubbing but it is one of those things.

"It just really shows that we need to keep the back lads together. We need all hands on deck really so it is important that the lads [get a result].
"Hopefully [Matthew] Connolly will be available again at the weekend, but that will be touch and go I would imagine.
"To lose him and others such as [Armand] Traore was a blow to us.
"I felt the QPR fans at Fulham last time out were absolutely fantastic. They know how quickly we have got where we have got now and I think it is great for a manager to get that support.
"It would have been easy to slaughter me and the players in a local derby.
"It was almost like they thought 'okay, we've lost but let's look forward to the next game', which I thought was a great attitude."
Complicated
One player who will be missing against Blackburn is summer signing Dyer, with the injury-ravaged midfielder currently taking in another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The England international picked up a foot injury on the opening day of the season against Bolton and Warnock admits the problem has proved to be more serious than it first looked.
"He has a complicated problem with the ligament on the top of his foot," he said.
"He had to have an extra couple of weeks in the pot, but he is feeling a lot better now.
"He has started rehabilitation again and walking. He is unlucky, is Kieron.
"It is a lot more difficult than the orthopaedist thought when he first saw it."
