Italian giants keen on Gunners full-back

Serie A giants Juventus have confirmed that they hope to land Arsenal full-back Armand Traore. Sky Sports News reported on Sunday that the Italian outfit were set to swoop for the French defender. Juve refused to make their intentions clear at that time, attempting to steer around the issue. They have, however, now revealed that Traore is among those targets coach Luigi Del Neri hopes to have on board before Tuesday's transfer deadline. "Yes, Traore is one of the players we are interested in," said sporting director Beppe Marotta. "We will see what happens."

Agreement

It is understood that Juve are looking to snap up Traore on a season-long loan deal. Arsenal would prefer to bring in a fee for the 20-year-old, but cash-strapped Juve are in no position to make such a move at the moment. They hope a loan agreement can be put in place, with the option to buy at the end of the 2010/11 campaign.
