QPR winger admits Ferguson's team selection will be decisive

Queens Park Rangers winger Lee Cook is eagerly anticipating their Carling Cup encounter with Manchester United. The man on loan from Premier League side Fulham is hopeful the Londoners could receive a huge boost prior to kick-off. The Hoops knocked out another Premier League club in the last round in the shape of Aston Villa and Cook has told skysports.com that Sir Alex Ferguson's team selection will be vital in whether they can cause another upset. He said: "I think we can give them a good game, but we'll have to see what type of team Sir Alex puts out really. "The old gaffer [Iain Dowie] went up there last season with Coventry and they put a weakened side out and came unstuck, so maybe this time he'll put out a stronger team and it will be even more difficult for us. "We'll just have to see what happens in terms of team selections, but it's going to be a great night for the fans making the trip up there." The Loftus Road outfit got back to winning ways on Saturday with a 1-0 win over nine-man Cardiff City and Cook believes the Old Trafford tie on Tuesday night will come as a welcome relief from the pressures of the Championship. He continued: "We are really looking forward to the Man U game because it's such a massive game for us. The majority of the lads have never played at Old Trafford, so everyone's getting excited about it."
