Blackpool have signed Queens Park Rangers defender Ian Evatt on a six-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old moved to Loftus Road from Chesterfield last summer but, despite making 27 appearances, never fully established himself.
New QPR boss Gary Waddock has decided the time his right to send him out to a lower league, and Blackpool have snapped him up gratefully.
Evatt is expected to go straight into The Seasiders' line-up for their opening League One game at Brentford on Sunday.
The 6ft 3in centre back is set to partner fellow new signing Shaun Barker in the heart of Blackpool's defence.
