Queens Park Rangers midfielder Martin Rowlands has been ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.
The Republic of Ireland international suffered a knee injury in a training ground accident last week.
Rowlands is thought to have torn his medial ligaments which will keep him out for six weeks and probably the rest of the campaign.
"It is still early days with regard to the diagnosis but it looks like he will be out for four to six weeks which effectively ends his season," QPR physio Prav Mathema told the club's official website.
"It looks as if Martin has suffered a tear to the medial ligament on his right knee.
"That is the same injury he had earlier in the season but with three months' full training eight first team starts I'm 100 percent convinced this is a totally new injury."
