BRENTFORD manager Wally Downes has told four of his players that they will not have their contracts renewed this summer at Griffin Park.

Riz Rehman, Martin Rowlands, Jay Lovett and Leon Constantine will all leave The Bees, as Downes shuffles his pack for next season.

Of the four players to be axed, Rowlands [pictured] is the most senior member, having made 149 appearances in his five seasons with South West London outfit. The midfielder attracted interest from QPR during the Nationwide campaign.

Rehman, Lovett and Constantine all failed to make serious breakthroughs into the first team at Brentford and all will now move on to pastures new.
