Coventry new-boy Al Bangura admits he is determined to grab his second chance in League football.

The 27-year-old forward has signed until the end of the season and could make his debut in Saturday's trip to Peterborough. The Sky Blues are just a point above the League One drop zone, but Bangura is just keen to start playing again. "I'm delighted to get a contract," he told the club's official site. "It's an opportunity to get back to a top level of football, which is only beneficial for me. "It was good to play and to get some match fitness, in case the manager decides to call on me for the first team. "I'm massively delighted to have an opportunity here at Coventry and I appreciate everything that I've been given." Bangura worked with Coventry coach Dave Hockaday at Watford and Forest Green - his last club - and is pleased with the chance to link up with him again. "I've known Dave since I was 15 at Watford, he is the one who got me playing football in this country," he said. "I respect him massively and it is good to work with him again. I am delighted with the opportunity and I am very eager to impress."
