Dave Hockaday is Sky Bet’s odds-on favourite to be the next permanent manager of Coventry City following the sacking of Steven Pressley.
Hockaday has been placed in temporary charge of the Sky Blues alongside Neil MacFarlane, and the Football League sponsor offer 4/6 on the former getting the job.
MacFarlane is available to back as the 4/1 second-favourite, while outsiders include Paolo di Canio (6/1) and Dave Jones (8/1), should the club decide to recruit externally.
Sky Bet spokesman Chris Spicer said: “The market is yet to attract significant interest, but there’s no doubt Hockaday and MacFarlane have it in their own hands.
“Our punters have been more keen on the big outsiders, though, with a couple of bets on long shots Stuart Pearce (25/1) and Uwe Rosler (16/1).”
Pressley won just six of his last 28 games in charge and leaves the club in the Sky Bet League One relegation zone.
