Manager Steven Pressley insists he is at Coventry for the long-term and has stressed his strong desire "to see this job through".

A total of 10 managers across England's top four divisions have lost their jobs over the last month, with this time of year seen as crucial for a club's hopes of realising their pre-season ambitions. Pressley's success at Coventry will not have gone unnoticed by interested suitors, with the Scot, appointed in March, having led the Sky Blues to 11th in League One and with one eye on the play-off places despite being hit with a 10-point deduction in the summer. But he has dismissed the inevitable speculation that is sure to link him with managerial vacancies elsewhere over the festive period. Asked whether he is interested in any of the current vacancies in the Football League, Pressley replied: "None whatsoever. "I have said I am here for the long haul and I genuinely mean that. I am really happy here and with the progress we have made on the pitch this season. "I have asked the players to commit to the club for the long-term as I want to build a successful future for the football club." He continued on Coventry's official website: "No matter what anyone says or any story says, I want to see this job through."
