Pressley wants youth on board

Coventry manager Steven Pressley has issued an ultimatum to his young players to buy into the work ethic at the League One club.

Pressley was appointed Sky Blues boss last month but has since seen his side's play-off hopes ended by a 10-point deduction. He is now looking ahead to next season and has warned the youngsters in his squad that they need to quickly get on board with the club's plans. Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph: "I want to create a demanding culture where there will be standards every day, and there's an intensity about the way we go about things. "All young players have to understand that there is a lot of work ahead to become the player that they want to become. "If you don't want to be part of that you won't be, it's as simple as that, and I genuinely mean that. So you either buy into it or you're not here."
