Sky Sports understands Blackpool are leading the chase for Coventry starlet Jordan Willis.
A host of Premier League clubs are keeping close tabs on the 17-year-old defender who made his league debut last term.
Newcastle, Manchester City, Liverpool ,Everton and Aston Villa are amongst those checking on the England youth international.
But Bloomfield Road is quickly emerging as a prime breeding ground for young English talent, and Ian Holloway is believed to be keen on adding Willis to his squad.
The likes of Matt Phillips and Thomas Ince have both moved to Blackpool in recent times and have enhanced their burgeoning reputations under Holloway.
Now Sky Sports understands Blackpool are hopeful of stealing a march on the Premier League clubs interested by agreeing a deal with Coventry.
