Midfielder describes lack of trust surrounding Rangers

Players are being driven out of newco Rangers by the lies of the club's hierarchy, according to John Fleck. The 21-year-old is among the men who refused to accept the transfer of his contract at Ibrox and he is now looking for a new club. Fleck, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Blackpool, has been accused of greed but he blames the lack of trust surrounding newco Rangers owner Charles Green. "It's terrible," said the midfielder in the Daily Record. "You'd never think this could happen to a club like Rangers. "But a couple of people have taken over the club and just told lies. It has not been great for the boys or the staff.

Disappointing

"I've not spoken to anyone from the club over the summer and that's disappointing. "Some of the fans think the boys are just leaving to get more money but I am going for football reasons. "It seems the fans don't trust Green but I have never met the guy. I was at Blackpool on loan so I wasn't around the place. "I've not spoken to anyone from the club over the summer and that's a bit disappointing. "I don't know what the best thing is. It all depends on if Green is the man to take the club forward but I don't think the fans believe he is."
