Megson: Don't touch my players

Gary Megson is furious with Karl Robinson after the MK Dons boss had an altercation with Sheffield Wednesday defender Reda Johnson.

Robinson was sent to the stands for apparently flooring Johnson in the 1-1 draw. Both teams profited from first-half own goals, with Owls goalkeeper Stephen Bywater's misfortune matched by Dons defender Gary MacKenzie, but the game was overshadowed by the dismissal of Robinson, sent off by referee James Linnington seven minutes from the end for a touchline incident involving Johnson that left the Wednesday full-back floored. Megson said: "I spoke to Reda and he said their manager has put his hands on his throat. You don't touch players - you certainly don't touch mine." Megson felt it was a case of two points dropped, adding: "We were terrific. I thought we bossed it from start to finish to be perfectly honest. "We both had one shot each in the first half and their goal was really fortunate in terms of how it has hit the bar and come back off Stevie Bywater. "To be perfectly honest we've got a point away from home and we're really disappointed we haven't got all three."
