Chris Maguire intends to sign a new contract at Aberdeen rather than join Coventry City.
Reports have claimed that Coventry are ready to make a £300,000 bid for the teenage striker, who has a year left on his current Pittodrie deal.
The Dons are not looking to sell Maguire and the promising forward admits he would be willing to extend his contract with the SPL club.
"I only know what I read about Coventry City being interested, but I haven't heard anything officially and I'm not even interested in leaving Aberdeen," Maguire told the Aberdeen Evening Express.
"I'm pleased with the progress I've been making and I've still got a year left on my contract and would be happy to extend that.
"I did well towards the end of last season and want to play more games and score more goals for Aberdeen."
