Coventry City starlet Ben Turner has agreed a new two-year deal with the club.
The 19-year-old has agreed terms on a new contract at The Ricoh Arena after impressing new boss Iain Dowie.
The England Under 19 defender has enjoyed loan spells at Peterborough and Oldham this term but is now ready to push for a first-team place with The Sky Blues.
"Ben is delighted to pledge his future to Coventry," his agent Alex Levack of SEM told skysports.com.
"Iain Dowie is obviously pleased with Ben and that is a great thing for any young player.
"Ben is very happy at Coventry and he is looking to progress over the next couple of seasons."
Meanwhile, the Football Association has confirmed that Turner has been banned for four matches.
He was dismissed against West Bromwich Albion but he appealed against referee Chris Foy's decision.
"Iain Dowie thought the incident was not worthy of a red card but it seems the appeal has fallen on deaf ears," said a Coventry spokesman.
