Coventry defender Andrew Whing admits a return to Brighton is 'a possibility'.

Sky Blues boss Iain Dowie announced last week that Whing, along with Arran Lee-Barrett and Che Bunce, would not be offered new deals when their present contracts expire in the summer.

Whing is exploring his options and is keen on the idea of a move to Brighton, where he spent a spell on loan earlier this season.

"I enjoyed my time down there and it is definitely a possibility if Brighton were willing to have me back," he told The Argus.

"I've kept in contact with both (Brighton boss) Dean Wilkins and (Brighton assistant boss) Dean White.

"It's early days and, fair play to Iain Dowie, he has given me time to have a look around, see what is best for me and see what clubs are interested."
