Coventry City have continued to strengthen their squad with the addition of goalkeeper Andy Marshall.

The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract at The Ricoh Arena after being released by Millwall at the end of last season.

Marshall had spent two-and-a-half years at The Den, but was allowed to leave following the club's relegation to League One.

The shot-stopper has managed to secure another Championship club after becoming Micky Adams' sixth signing of the summer.

Adams brought in Colin Cameron from Wolves on Thursday and had previously clinched the signatures of David McNamee, Wayne Andrews, Mikkel Bischoff and Elliott Ward.

Meanwhile, Adams has allowed veteran defender Ady Williams to leave The Sky Blues on a free transfer.

Williams made 41 appearances in the East Midlands after joining for nothing from Reading in November 2004.
