Coventry goalkeeper Scott Shearer has completed a move to Bristol Rovers.
Coventry City goalkeeper Scott Shearer has completed a move to League Two side Bristol Rovers.
The 24-year-old put pen to paper on a two-year contract and is now looking to make his debut for Ian Atkins's side in Wednesday's friendly against Team Bath.
Shearer met his new team-mates for the first time on Tuesday morning and expressed relief that the move had finally gone through.
Speaking to the club's official website he said: "I'm glad it's all sorted now.
"I've been keeping my fitness up before coming here and now I just want to get on with it.
"Bristol Rovers is a massive club moving forward and I want to be a part of that."
Shearer made 41 appearances for Coventry after being signed by Gary McAllister in the summer of 2003.
