BRISTOL CITY have agreed a deal with Coventry to sign Julian Joachim on loan until the end of the season.
The Division Two promotion hopefuls are now waiting to hear if Joachim will accept the move to Ashton Gate.
Robins boss Danny Wilson has been keen to strengthen his attack after failing to keep Rotherham's Mark Robins at the club.
Joachim is set to leave Highfield Road after an injury-plagued 18 months with The Sky Blues.
"Julian has played a lot of Premiership football and has the pace to prove a real threat in our division," Wilson told Bristol City's official website.
"We have gone through the right channels and it could come down to how much Julian wants to play first-team football.
"I am waiting for a phone call to see if he is willing to join us. He is the sort of player who excites fans and could give us a boost at a vital stage of the season."
One player on his way out of Ashton Gate is Portuguese striker Albano Correia who has joined Nationwide Conference side Hereford after being released from his contract at City.
Correia becomes the second new face at Hereford after The Bulls signed Walsall striker Karl Hawley on loan until the end of the season.
