LEE HUGHES has vowed to see out the remaining two years of his contract with Coventry.

Reports of a rift with manager Roland Nilsson emerged last week, although this was later denied, and he was the subject of cheeky bid from former club West Brom.

Hughes brushed aside all the speculation to score Coventry`s late winner over promotion rivals Norwich on Saturday and immediately vowed to help lift The Sky Blues back to The Premiership.

He said: "Everyone here is aiming to play in The Premiership. It`s going to be difficult, but we have as good a chance as anyone in the play-off positions and we`re all up for it."

On his personal situation, Hughes added: "It`s nice to be wanted, but I`m more than happy to stay.

"I`ve another two years and and I`d like to see it through."
