York City bring in Morris

York have completed signing of teenage striker Carlton Morris on loan from Norwich.

The 18-year-old will stay at Bootham Crescent until January 4 and is expected to go straight into Russ Wilcox's squad for Saturday's league game at Plymouth. Morris has yet to make the first-team breakthrough at Carrow Road, but scored one goal in 10 appearances for Oxford while on loan there for the first three months of the season. His arrival at York follows the return of Diego De Girolamo for a second loan spell from Sheffield United, while Burnley have agreed to extend goalkeeper Alex Cisak's loan spell until January.
