Striker Lewis Grabban insists Norwich are achieving their targets for pre-season and are on the right track.

The Canaries beat Nice 5-1 on Monday night and Grabban has said everything is falling into to place ahead of the season-opener against Wolves on August 10, where the Canaries begin to plot an instant return to the Premier League.

"I think throughout this pre-season we've been getting better and better, and Monday showed that again, I thought we were really good," he told the official club website.

"We kept the ball well and we punished them when we needed to."

Grabban signed for the Canaries earlier this summer for £3million from Bournemouth and said the quicker he adjusts the better.

"As footballers we have to adjust quickly to new situations, and moving to a new club is just that," he added.

"I've settled in well to the area and into the team, so hopefully we can just keep on the rise."
