Norwich goalkeeping coach Dave Watson has been given permission to hold talks with Southampton about joining Ronald Koeman's backroom team.
Watson is wanted at St Mary's following the arrival of new manager Koeman and the two clubs have already agreed a deal.
The 40-year-old former Barnsley shot-stopper will discuss terms with Saints, who have been assembling Koeman’s coaching set-up after he took charge earlier this month.
Former Liverpool assistant Sammy Lee has already joined the Dutchman after opting for a switch to the south coast instead of Brighton.
Lee was expected to link up with Sami Hyypia at Brighton after leaving an academy role at Bolton, but changed his mind after he was approached by Saints.
