Michael Turner believes he has found his feet at Norwich after a difficult start to his career at Carrow Road.
The 29-year-old defender joined from Sunderland in the summer, but he has struggled to hold down a regular role in the back line and was recently hampered by injury.
Turner admits he had to dig deep to earn a recall this month and is fully aware he must continue to impress manager Chris Hughton.
"It was a difficult start to the season but it was something that I had to deal with and learn from", he told The Sun.
"I'm really pleased with how it's been going. You just have to get your head down and work hard.
"I picked up an injury a couple of weeks ago but I'm feeling good now and it's great to be back in the side. I just want to keep producing consistent performances."
Turner insists he is relishing the challenge of today's home clash against champions Manchester City.
"They've got some world-class players so they will be looking to bounce back against us," he said.
"It's always good to judge yourself against the best players."
