Chris Hughton: Warned Norwich against complacency
Norwich manager Chris Hughton has warned his players not to underestimate West Brom when they face then at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
Hughton's side are on a 10-match unbeaten Premier League run that has seen them rise to eighth in the top-flight ahead of the weekend's fixtures following a poor start to the season.
In contrast, the Baggies have suffered a reversal of fortune, with the club enjoying a strong beginning to the campaign before stuttering and they have now lost three and drawn one of their last four Premier League matches.
"West Brom are a very good squad and have built steadily over the past few seasons," Hughton said.
"It has been a wonderful start for them, but it is very difficult to maintain that momentum throughout the season, so any team is going to have their highs and lows.
"They have dipped a bit in their results, but they still have a lot of quality in their team with plenty of options."
As for his own side's recent positive form, Hughton warned it can only take one bad result for confidence and form to be affected.
"To be on the run we are is testament to the work the players have put in. However, you don't like to dwell on it too much, because it is all about the next game," he added.
"We have four very tough games coming up in this (Christmas) period, but we are in confident mood, and there would be something wrong if we are not because we are in a very good run."
