Norwich have been handed a boost with the news midfielder Elliott Bennett has been cleared for a return to training with the hope of being fit to face Liverpool on 29th September.
The 23-year-old has been out since the opening game of the season - the 5-0 loss at Fulham - with a knee injury.
The Canaries have drawn their subsequent three Premier League games and their only win this season came in the Capital One Cup last month.
Bennett's return would be a handy boost for boss Chris Hughton, especially with the Canaries due to face Newcastle, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in their next four matches.
Hughton, who hopes Bennett will be back for the second of those games, said: "He will be training next Monday and is making very good progress."
