Norwich boss believes win will come

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is refusing to panic after seeing his side fail to claim their opening win of the season against West Ham. The Canaries played out a goalless draw at Carrow Road, meaning Hughton is yet to taste victory since taking charge. Both sides had their chances in Norfolk, but Hughton knows his side missed some excellent opportunities late on. But Hughton remains upbeat despite a difficult run of games coming up that sees Norwich face Newcastle, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. "We are where we are, but we must not fear any game - we have four big games coming, but every game is big and a challenge and we have to be up for them," he told Sky Sports. "We look for the positives, we have not lost for three games, we have not lost at Carrow Road so we look for the positives but we do need to be scoring more goals. "We could be saying that if we continue playing like we have in the last three games, we will get that win, we are creating chances and are solid. But we are just missing that bit of quality, luck and fortune in the last third. "We were up against a good team today and part of your philosophy has to be able to put up with that and we have to be able to cope with that, we deal with them well but we didn't take our chances when they came and they did come - if we continue to make chances I would certainly be more worried if we weren't making these chances."

Kane

On-loan Tottenham youngster Harry Kane missed a gilt-edged chance to win the match late on, but he has Hughton's backing. "He is young and has come here to develop as a player," he said. "He is a wonderful finisher and we hope we can see progress from him and he will learn more from this than anything on the training pitch."
