Welsh boss happy with players' response to Swansea drubbing

Mark Hughes has urged his QPR players to treat this weekend's Premier League clash at Norwich as a new start. The Hoops suffered a humiliating 5-0 opening day defeat by Swansea as their campaign began in the worst possible fashion at Loftus Road. But boss Hughes has been impressed with the response from his squad and wants them to make amends at Carrow Road on Saturday. "We have worked exceptionally hard this week and there has been a good response," said the Welshman. "Obviously we disappointed ourselves and we disappointed our fans on the day. "From our point of view we've just got to really focus on the Norwich game and start our season at the weekend. "We were caught in the traps against Swansea."
