New Norwich signing happy to work with Hughton

Sebastien Bassong has revealed that the opportunity to work again alongside manager Chris Hughton was the main reason for him opting to join Norwich City. The Cameroon defender, who has left Tottenham after three years at White Hart Lane, is understood to have had the opportunity to remain in London with QPR, but instead opted for the East Anglian side. Bassong, who played at Newcastle United whilst Hughton was the assistant manager, has declared his admiration for his new boss. "Chris Hughton made a big difference for me in my choice," Bassong told the club's Canaries Player. "He knows me really well and so I am very happy to work with him again. "This is a really good thing for me to join this club and I am looking forward to playing for the team." Bassong has signed a three-year-deal with Norwich after joining for an undisclosed fee.
