Skysports.com understands Norwich City have agreed a deal with Brighton for Andrew Crofts.
Several clubs are reported to have shown an interest in the 25-year-old midfielder since the season came to a close.
The Wales international penned a two-year deal with the Seagulls last summer upon his arrival at the Withdean Stadium from Gillingham, but that has done little to distract potential suitors.
Norwich appear to have made the first move, with the Canaries looking to piece together a side capable of holding its own back in the Championship.
He was handed the captain's armband at Brighton by boss Gus Poyet in January, and was a virtual ever-present throughout the 2009/10 campaign, but he now looks set to move on after just 12 months on the South Coast.
