Ryan Jarvis has joined Leyton Orient on a one-month loan deal from Norwich.
The striker became Norwich's youngest ever player when he made his debut as a 16-year-old in April 2003, and he has gone on to make nearly 30 appearances in the Championship.
Jarvis has not yet established himself as a regular starter at Carrow Road and Peter Grant is keen for him to get some more experience at a lower level.
The former England Under 19 international is likely to go straight into Orient's squad to face Carlisle this Saturday.
"We've needed to add a forward to the squad ever since Paul Connor was sold to Cheltenham, so I'm delighted to welcome Ryan to the club," Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling told the club's official website.
"He's played a good number of games at Championship level and has also represented his country so I'm looking forward to seeing the impact he has on the team."
