Drury extends Canaries deal

Norwich captain Adam Drury has signed a new deal at Carrow Road.

Norwich have been handed a boost on the eve of the new season with captain Adam Drury signing a new deal at Carrow Road.

The highly-rated defender has inked a one-year extension to his contract which still had two years to run.

The new deal also has the option of being extending for another year which could keep Drury at Carrow Road until 2008.

Drury has established himself as a key member of Nigel Worthington's squad since arriving from Peterborough in 2001.

The 25-year-old becomes the second player in recent weeks to pledge his future to the club after Robert Green inked a three-year extension to his contract.
