NORWICH CITY boss Nigel Worthington has admitted that the club are chasing Nottingham Forest full back Jim Brennan.
The Canadian international's contract at The City Ground expires on June 30, and Norwich are believed to have opened talks with the defender over a possible transfer.
"Jim Brennan is one of a number of players we've been looking at in recent weeks," said Worthington.
"However, there's nothing more to add at this stage."
Meanwhile, The Canaries have confirmed that midfielder Darel Russell has rejected the club's latest contract offer.
The 22-year-old will thus remain on a week-to-week contract at Carrow Road allowing City to claim compensation for him should another club come in for him.
"He has rejected his latest contract offer and that's his prerogative," declared Worthington.
"Darel will continue to be a Norwich City player and will train with us on that basis."
