Sky Sports understands that Dean Marney has committed his future to Burnley by signing a new contract.
The 29-year-old midfielder is believed to have put pen to a paper on a two-year deal.
Marney has been part of the set-up at Turf Moor since completing a switch from Hull City in 2010.
He has made well over 100 appearances for the Clarets over the course of his three seasons with the club.
There is the promise of many more outings to come, with Burnley having moved quickly to tie him down on fresh terms.
Marney has been an integral part of Sean Dyche's plans this season and will be hoping to wrap up the 2012/13 campaign with a top-half finish.
