Burnley have played down speculation linking Eddie Howe with a move back to managerless Bournemouth.
Howe is thought to be Bournemouth's top choice to replace Paul Groves at Dean Court following his sacking last week.
34-year-old Howe left the South Coast outfit in January last year to take over at Turf Moor, but now Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell is thought to be keen to lure him back.
However, Burnley have moved to quell the growing speculation over Howe's future, claiming it is business as usual at Turf Moor.
Howe was taking charge of training at Burnley on Thursday morning and the club insist they have yet to receive an approach from Bournemouth for their manager.
