Midfielder keen on move to Turf Moor

Sky Sports understands Burnley are in talks with Doncaster Rovers over a deal for midfielder Brian Stock. Rovers are thought to be willing to offload Stock as they look to trim their wage bill following their relegation to League One. Talks are at an advanced stage between both clubs and Stock is keen on a move to return to the Championship. Burnley boss Eddie Howe is eager to bolster his midfield options and is pursuing a move for long-term target Stock. Howe knows all about Stock having played alongside the 30-year-old during their time together at Bournemouth. Burnley are thought to be thrashing out a deal with Doncaster for Stock with the Clarets hoping they will let the Wales international leave for a nominal fee with his contract only having a year to run on it.
