Skysports.com understands Burnley are poised to sign Zavon Hines from Championship rivals West Ham.
Hines is believed to be at Turf Moor to finalise his move to the Clarets after turning down a new deal at West Ham.
The former England Under 21 international arrives on a free transfer, but West Ham will be due compensation for Hines with the player having come through the ranks at Upton Park.
The 22-year-old has struggled with a series of injury problems over the last 12 months with Hines making only 15 appearances last term.
Clarets boss Eddie Howe is a long-term admirer of Hines and sees his versatility as a key addition to his squad.
