Skysports.com understands Burnley boss Eddie Howe is closing in on the signing of Bournemouth striker Danny Ings.
The teenager was given his debut at Bournemouth during Howe's time as manager and he scored eight goals in 25 appearances last season.
He has attracted interest from a string of clubs over the summer, and Fulham and Crystal Palace have already seen bids rejected.
Ings recently told skysports.com that he would be keen to play at a higher level and Burnley are now homing in on his capture.
It is believed that a fee has been agreed with the Cherries, with the League One club previously understood to have been holding out for a £1million-plus deal.
The 19-year-old is now set for talks with the Clarets regarding the chance to step up to the Championship before the close of the transfer window.
