Phil Brown insists that Hull City star Stephen Hunt will not be sold during the January transfer window.
With the Tigers keen to raise funds and reduce their wage bill it had been speculated the club could cash in on the 28-year-old.
Relegation rivals Wolves have been linked with a move for the ex-Reading ace, but Brown is adamant about Hunt's future.
Brown believes the Republic of Ireland international is happy at the KC Stadium and wants him to remain in East Yorkshire for the remainder of the season.

"Stephen, as far as I'm concerned and as far as the chairman is concerned, will be going nowhere," he told the
Hull Daily Mail.
"I have had the lad in yesterday morning and asked him where he wants to be.
"His heart is firmly at Hull City and I would like to keep it that way in the January transfer window and for the rest of the season."
A host of other Hull players have been linked with moves, including Daniel Cousin and Caleb Folan, and Brown has revealed interest is also building in Dean Marney.
"There's a little bit of interest for Dean Marney," he continued.
"As I said at the start of the transfer window we will judge them all on their merits and they will only go from the football club if it's right for us."
