Notts County goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski is set to join Ipswich after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

The Magpies have accepted an offer from the Sky Bet Championship club for the 27-year-old Pole, who will sign a two-year contract with Mick McCarthy's men.

"Notts County can confirm that we have reached an agreement with Ipswich Town that will see goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski move to Portman Road for an undisclosed fee," said a statement on Notts' official club website.

"The club would like to thank him for his efforts during his time with us and to wish him well for his future career."

Bialkowski, who moved to Meadow Lane from Southampton on a free transfer ahead of the 2012/13 season, had one year remaining on his contract and had spoken of his desire to play at a higher level after another impressive campaign for the Magpies last season.

In total he made almost 100 appearances for Notts in all competitions. His exit could provide highly-rated young goalkeeper Fabian Spiess with his big chance in the first team at Meadow Lane.
