Nottingham Forest striker David McGoldrick has completed his permanent move to Ipswich by signing a two-year contract.

The 25-year-old joined the Portman Road club on loan from Forest in January with a view to sealing a long-term deal this summer.

McGoldrick, who moved to Forest from Southampton for £1million in the summer of 2009, made 14 appearances for Ipswich and scored four goals.

He had spent the previous six months on loan at Coventry, where he scored 17 goals in 25 appearances.
