Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is confident his side will escape relegation for the third successive season.
Mick McCarthy's team are currently just one place, and one point, above the relegation zone.
In the previous two campaigns, Wolves have managed to cling on to their top-flight status, and Ebanks-Blake believes that experience will prove invaluable.
"That's not to say we want to be there - far from it - but at least we've got the experience of being in this position and getting out of it," he told the
Express and Star.
"Hopefully that will tell over this period and we can pick some points up.
Experience
"It only needs a couple of good results and you can shoot up the table. It's ridiculous how tight it is."
The former Manchester United youngster started only his second Premier League game of season against Norwich last week and scored in a 2-2 draw.
Ebanks-Blake suffered an injury against Northampton in the Carling Cup in August and has had to wait patiently for an opportunity due the impressive partnership of Steven Fletcher and Kevin Doyle.
However, he reckons Wolves are now benefitting from their new strength in depth of their squad.
"It's very much a team game now," he added.
Opportunity
"I've been patient and kept on working and was delighted to get the opportunity. We've got a lot of games coming up and we're going to need the full squad.
"Everyone's ready and looking to take their opportunity, which can only be good for the club.
"I was unfortunate to get injured against Northampton. But I'm fully fit now and was pleased to get a start.
"When you start you can feel your way into it and build and that's what I felt I did against Norwich."
