Hoops stopper to remain at Portman Road until end of campaign

Celtic defender Darren O'Dea will stay at Ipswich until the end of the season after seeing his loan deal extended. The Republic of Ireland international's loan was set to expire after Town's clash with Millwall on Saturday, but the Bhoys have agreed to prolong it until the end of the campaign. The 23-year-old arrived at Portman Road on a short-term basis last summer and has made 14 appearances for the Tractor Boys. New Town boss Paul Jewell told the club's official website: "The deal was agreed before I came here for Darren to stay and I'm happy with that." New Zealand forward Rory Fallon has a week remaining on his loan deal from Plymouth and Jewell added: "I have spoken to (Plymouth manager) Peter Reid and I will talk to Rory next week."
