Brentford boss Andy Scott has revealed he would like to bring loan stars Jordan Rhodes and Billy Clarke back to the club next season.
The pair arrived on loan from Ipswich during Brentford's League Two title winning campaign, scoring a combined total of 12 league goals between them.
Rhodes, who netted seven of those 12, impressed Scott during his 14 outings before having his season cut short through a metatarsal injury.
However, the Bees boss has admitted he may prove difficult to lure back to Griffin Park.
"I've made it clear I'd like to have Jordan [Rhodes] back and he's said he wants to give it a go at Ipswich," Scott told the Ipswich Evening Star.
"He's still getting over his foot injury so we'll wait and see if that's possible when it's cleared up.
Clarke on the other hand has since been released by the Tractor Boys and becomes a free agent, and his 5 goals in just 8 appearances for the Bees might just win him a contract offer as Scott prepares for life in League One.
"Billy is one of the centre-forwards I'm interested in. I spoke to him at the end of last season and we're monitoring what's happening with him," added Scott.
