Coventry City are looking to sign Weymouth goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barratt on a one-month loan deal.
Conference side Weymouth have had to take drastic measures this week to avoid extinction, with their entire playing squad either released or transfer-listed.
Micky Adams has now brought Lee-Barratt in to train with The Sky Blues, as he looks for cover for Luke Steele in the absence of injured number one Andy Marshall.
Meanwhile, Adams has not given up hope of landing Darren Currie from Ipswich Town on a permanent transfer.
Currie's loan spell at Coventry ended on New Year's Day, but Adams is still in negotiations with Ipswich.
"The situation has still not changed since the start of the January transfer window," Adams told the club's official website.
"Ipswich want a certain figure but we won't meet their demands.
"But the deal is not dead."
