Ipswich midfielder Gavin Williams fears he may face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Williams suffered a recurrence of a long-standing groin injury in Saturday's win over Leeds.
The 26-year-old has been to see a specialist over his injury and he is unsure how long he might be sidelined.
"I'm not sure what the verdict will be," said Williams. "I just want to get it sorted once and for all, and to get on with playing.
"I haven't really been match fit all season. Even on Saturday it was touch and go, but it was decided I should give it a go.
"I was in so much pain, there was no way I could continue."
