Darryl Knights will join Falkirk in the New Year on loan, but Ipswich Town team-mate Sammy Moore has rejected a similar move.

Ipswich boss Jim Magilton is keen for the youngsters to accrue first-team experience and accepted an offer from Falkirk.

Knights has agreed to spend a month with the SPL club and will link up with The Bairns when the transfer window reopens next month.

But midfielder Moore has turned down the deal, with Magilton hoping striker Knights benefits from his time with Falkirk.

"Falkirk were keen to take both Darryl and Sammy on loan, but Sammy isn't keen on the move," said Magilton.

"I don't particularly want him to go. He's an infectious character and it is good to have him about the place.

"The move to Falkirk will be good for Darryl because it will hopefully give him a chance to play regularly."
